The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is an annual international conference dedicated to economic and business issues. Over the last decade, SPIEF has become a leading international platform for the discussion of the key economic issues faced by Russia, the emerging markets, and the world as a whole. The SPIEF attracts over 10,000 international and Russian participants, including government and business leaders from the emerging economic powers, as well as leading global voices from academia, the media, and civil society. The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum first took place in 1997 and, since 2006, it has been held under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation, who has also attended each event.

This year’s global exposition will take place from June 10 to September 10 in the capital of Kazakistan: 430 acres of surface, 3000 events and roughly 5 million visitors expected from over 100 countries. The event will look to develop economic relationships at a global level in search of a more sustainaible future. The theme of this year’s event will in fact be: “Future Energy”.
WPC The World Petroleum Congress, also known as the "Olympics" of the petroleum industry, covers all aspects of the oil and gas industry from technological advances in upstream and downstream operations to the role of natural gas and renewables, management of the industry and its social, economic and environmental impact. Companies, governments, other industry sectors, NGOs and international institutions join in the dialogue. The Congress will bring together over 5,000 delegates and over 500 speakers. Ministerial Delegations & senior business executives from all over the world will be meeting at the 22nd WPC at the highest level. The exhibition will cover about 40,000 square meters & will feature all major international & national oil & gas companies, country stands from WPC's to member countries as well as service companies.
