The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is an annual international conference dedicated to economic and business issues. Over the last decade, SPIEF has become a leading international platform for the discussion of the key economic issues faced by Russia, the emerging markets, and the world as a whole. The SPIEF attracts over 10,000 international and Russian participants, including government and business leaders from the emerging economic powers, as well as leading global voices from academia, the media, and civil society. The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum first took place in 1997 and, since 2006, it has been held under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation, who has also attended each event.

The OECD Week 2017 will bring together government ministers, international experts and key figures from the worlds of academia, business and civil society. The event will take place at the Paris headquarters from June 6 -8  2017, and will be made up the two separate events, the OECD 2017 Ministerial Council Meeting and the OECD Forum. The central focus in this year’s discussions will be on Bridging Divides at a time when increasing populism and nationalism, low levels of trust, rapid technological development and the continued effects of the crisis are having a disrupting impact on our societies and economies. The OECD Forum will host nearly 80 debates, presentations and other events organized around three cross- cutting themes: inclusive growth, digitalization and trust and will highlight the importance of continuing to develop more integrated and inclusive economies.

This year’s global exposition will take place from June 10 to September 10 in the capital of Kazakistan: 430 acres of surface, 3000 events and roughly 5 million visitors expected from over 100 countries. The event will look to develop economic relationships at a global level in search of a more sustainaible future. The theme of this year’s event will in fact be: “Future Energy”.

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) will be holding its annual Energy Conference on June 26 and 27, 2017 at the Washington Hilton hotel in Washington, DC. The EIA Energy Conference is a premier forum for addressing energy issues in the United States and worldwide. The conference will cover a wide range of energy topics such as US exports of crude oil and petroleum products as well as the future of renewable finance and project costs. At last year’s event, more than 900 professionals from the industry, the government, and academia were in attendance to discuss current and future challenges facing domestic and international energy markets.

The event, which will be held in Moscow from June 27 to 30, has become has been a huge platform recognized on an international scale and known for presenting the world’s newest products and displays.
